C H A N E L Spring 2012 - Thursday

 

 

CHANEL Spring 2012 show was a ocean wonderland, with amazing large coral branches, sea shells, stingrays, sea horses and many more ocean creatures on a white sandy sea bed. The runway design was spectacular!!

Karl Lagerfeld's creations are mind blowing. As VOGUE describes 'Lagerfeld worked with innovative techno fabrics to create the effect of light through water. Airy waffle-textured organzas and iridescent synthetics, open-weave tweeds and knits, and a palette of sea foam, shell pink, and mother-of-pearl (anchored with the inevitable black) created an otherworldly effect.'

Not to the mention to have Florence Welche appear out of a large sea shell to perform live, hands down to the most innovative show at Paris Fashion Week 2012.
